Near zero.......

These days with my heavy workload combined with my messy room.  I have near zero energy and creative juices to make pieces.  What a shame!

I have been wondering how do i get my energy and inspiration back.....

After looking my room.......i find the answer.....my room is way too messy!!  It's like hurricane has just swept pass.....hhaahhaha!  Yes it's that chao!

So time to clean pack clean pack........

A colleague brought these white beads with pink oriental print last week. 
We spent some time in the beads shope in search of matching beads.  After sometime, we have not success.

So, I decided to head home and see what I have in stock........(I have quite an amount of findings collection.)

Ladies these days own many accessories - necklaces, earrings, rings, etc......

After awhile, we get "tired" of our existing accessories and begin to purchase new ones.  And wonder what shall we do with the old ones?

How about RECYCLING and RE-DESIGN?

All my friends know that I am freak with seed beads but since I am recycling.  Thought I try on something which I have not done for a very long time.  Stringing and chain......

Sick and Bored!!

I am sick and resting at home. Besides the numerous getting out of bed and to the loo, seriously there is nothing much to do.

So my mind begin to wander off to my collection of beads. What should I begin design as my next retail piece?

I am KEEPING IT FOR MYSELF! It's an early Christmas gift to myself. Love is so much taht I can't bear to sell it. Hahahaha!!!!

No interests or Jus that the pricing is not right?

Started my handweave jewelleries blogspot with the objective to sell my pieces. Sigh....its been awhile now and the pieces are moving very slow despite that they are unique and handweave.

I am beginning to doubt myself if these pieces are really what consumers are interests as gift. The thought of "kill" the blogspot also pops into my mind!

Till I spoke with a friend who highlighted that besides the pricing, it also the description provided. Likely there are not enough information for people to make a sound decision.

So my priority now is to quickly update all previous posts with more details like measurements, type of stone, type of beads and other materials.

Then I am planning to load a series of pre-Christmas stuff so that people would make their preorder early with me and also get discount.

So it plan plan plan now!!!!

Hope to launch this on Novemeber 18 - praying to God for help and guidance.

Square Ring

Last month I attended a party and a piece of jewellery caught my eye!  This ring (it's a petty I didn't manage to take a picture) - gold as main colour accompanied with black and chili red.

A simple ring but outstanding and charming.  Thus, I experiment to make one for myself.

First attempt in 11 size seed beads, failed badly:

As you can see above sead beads were in a mess.  No way I could figure out the shape it is to form after I connected the ends together.

Then, I used a bigger size sead beads (size 8).  Ah!!!  Now I understand how the shape is formed.  And this sampler piece is made.



With the success of making the sampler piece, I will try to make a similar ring to the one I saw soon.
